Part of your instrument is about getting the loop right, not just playing your guitar “It is such an unforgiving way to write something - because if you don’t play it perfectly, it’s still got to go through the full loop cycle before it stops, so any mistake you make just gets pounded into your head even more because it’s repeating itself! But honestly, it’s just trial and error - and sometimes I still screw it up on stage! “Loopers are fairly unforgiving! Ideally, I prefer to create the loops organically while the song is happening - playing this verse part and then loop it and make it something else by playing it backwards or double-time, or whatever. ![]()
